Ingredients

    For The Fudge Sauce:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • For The Strawberry Sauce:

  • 1 pint strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon tangerine zest
  • Pinch of kosher salt

Instructions

  1. For the fudge sauce: in a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Place over medium heat and whisk to combine. Bring to a simmer, whisking often. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from the heat. Whisk in the vanilla extract.
  2. For the strawberry sauce: in a medium bowl, mix together the strawberries, sugar, zest and salt to coat well. Cover and allow to rest for 1 hour.
  3. Add the mixture to a blender and puree until smooth
