'Tis the season for hot toddies! This one gets a little added boost with the help of Fabbri ginger in syrup. Be sure to enjoy all of the chopped ginger at the bottom that has been playing with the bourbon and lemon. It’s simply delightful.

Ingredients

1 ounce limoncello
1 1/2 ounces bourbon whiskey
1 teaspoon ginger syrup, from Fabbri ginger in syrup

2 teaspoons chopped Fabbri ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Pinch of kosher salt
1 1/2 cups boiling water
Slice of lemon, optional

Instructions

In a large mug combine the limoncello, bourbon, ginger syrup, chopped ginger, lemon juice and salt. Top with the boiling water and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to sit and infuse for 1 minute. Serve garnished with a lemon wheel if desired.
