A simple blend of three essential seasonings, this mixture was carefully calibrated by Giada to deliver a well-rounded boost that doesn’t overpower your meal, but elevates it to the next level with delicate Italian flair. It sings of the vibrant flavors of the Italian coast, where the freshest fish and perfectly ripe vegetables are seasoned simply to let their pure deliciousness shine through.

The herbs for our Giadzy seasoning blends are grown in the rich volcanic soil of Pantelleria, a rocky island off the southwest coast of Sicily near Tunisia that is home to dramatic volcanic craters and hot springs. The island’s nutrient-rich soil and powerful sun of the southern Mediterranean gives these herbs a potency and complexity you won’t find anywhere else. 

The oregano in this blend is harvested in late May to early June and slowly dried in the shade to preserve its intense flavor, after which it’s carefully hand-sorted to protect the fragile leaves as they’re packaged. It’s combined with the carefully dried zest of bright Sicilian lemons and natural sea salt harvested from the historic Trapani salt flats, where water from the Mediterranean is slowly evaporated to provide a crunchy sea salt that’s rich in minerals. Each Giadzy seasoning was carefully blended by Giada herself to capture the flavors she relies on in her own cooking, conveniently blended for home cooks.

With bright lemon zest, fragrant oregano, and crunchy sea salt, this blend is a delicate mixture. Refrain from using other salt when cooking with this blend, as the natural sea salt is very potent and additional salt may not be necessary. Try it with grilled fish or shrimp, on vegetables, in sauces, or in a simple vinaigrette for salads.
