    If you buy olive oil in a 3L tin can, and transfer it to a cruet, does that keep as well as olive oil in a dark colored bottle?

    Ciao William! If you’re transferring olive oil, use a dark or opaque cruet to block light—otherwise, it may oxidize faster. Keep the rest sealed in the tin to limit air exposure, but know that transferring introduces air too!
