Want The Best View Of Positano? Rent A Kayak!

Positano, Italy is a beautiful city from any angle, but if you want that iconic view, you have to head to the water. Our solution? Rent a kayak in Positano!

If you've seen photos of Positano on social media, they're almost always of that one iconic view: the cliffside spackled with little pastel-colored buildings. Sure, you can head down to the beach to get a view of your own - but why not take it a step further? Renting a kayak in Positano is the best way to go out in the water and look up at the town at your own leisure, all while getting some time to explore and enjoy the beautiful Tyrrhenian sea.
There's no need to make a reservation! Just head down to either beach on Positano (The main beach, or Fornillo!) and you'll see stands where you can rent kayaks. Generally, it's 10 euros per hour - or 30 euros for 4 hours. Head out in the morning while the water is calmer and there are fewer people out and about. Bring a hat, sunscreen up, and have something waterproof to store your phone in, because you'll want to take 100 photos!
Once you're out on the water and had your fill of taking photos of the city, you can explore the coast a bit! If you're facing away from the town, turn right to explore some fun caves. Wherever you end up, you'll be surrounded by almost unreal turquoise water, and wonder if you're in actual paradise. The answer is yes!
Rent A Kayak In Positano
Be sure to not head out too far, because sometimes you can go against the wind on your journey back, making it a more strenuous trip!
So give your legs a break from the stairs in Positano, and hitch a ride on a kayak - the views are 100% worth it!
