Ingredients

  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • approximately 36 chips of your choice (popcorn, pretzel or potato)
  • sprinkles or flake salt

Instructions

  1. Place the chocolate chips in a medium, glass microwave safe bowl. Melt the chocolate by microwaving on medium for 20 seconds at a time, stirring well with a rubber spatula after each session, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Stir in the oil.
  2. Line a straight sided baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper. Dip each chip into the chocolate coating allowing the excess to drip off back into the bowl. You can dip half of the chip or the whole chip. If dipping the whole chip, use a fork to help remove the chip from the chocolate and make sure it is evenly coated. Place the coated chip on the parchment lined tray and continue with the remaining chips. Garnish with the sprinkles or salt of your choice. Refrigerate the chips until the chocolate is set. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
