Calabrian Fig Jam Crostini

1/2 cup fig jam, such as Agrimontana
½ teaspoon Calabrian chili paste, or more, if desired
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 baguette, sliced into crostini
¼ cup olive oil
- 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced thin
For The Jam:
For The Crostini:
- Mix the fig jam, Calabrian chili paste and lemon juice together in a container. Taste and add more Calabrian chili paste if desired for a spicier jam.
- On a slight bias, slice the baguette into 1/4-inch slices. Brush the slices with the 1/4 cup olive oil, then place on a baking sheet. Bake until golden brown and crunchy, 10 to 12 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Once the crostini are cool, top each with a slice of brie, and a dollop of the spicy fig jam.
