Ingredients

  • 1½- inch piece ginger (chopped)
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (cored and chopped)
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 3 tablespoons parsley leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. To the pitcher of a blender add the ginger, apple, spinach, parsley, lemon juice, water, ice, and salt. Puree on high for 2 minutes, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed. The drink can be enjoyed as is, like a smoothie, or strained through a fine-mesh strainer, if desired, as a juice.
