This blend has everything: a mild, fruity heat from sun-dried Sicilian chilis, bright lemon zest, and gorgeously perfumed oregano and rosemary, all combined with coarse natural sea salt that comes straight from the Mediterranean itself. It’s a versatile blend crafted by Giada to give any dish a distinctly Italian character with lots of personality.

The herbs for our Giadzy seasoning blends are grown in the rich volcanic soil of Pantelleria, a rocky island off the southwest coast of Sicily near Tunisia that is home to dramatic volcanic craters and hot springs. The island’s nutrient-rich soil and powerful sun of the southern Mediterranean gives these herbs a potency and complexity you won’t find anywhere else.

In this blend, those herbs are combined with sun-dried Sicilian chilis that have a moderate heat profile and concentrated fruity flavor, similar to a sun-dried tomato. The finishing touch is natural sea salt harvested from the historic Trapani salt flats, where water from the Mediterranean is slowly evaporated to provide a crunchy sea salt that’s rich in minerals. Each Giadzy seasoning was carefully blended by Giada herself to capture the flavors she relies on in her own cooking, conveniently blended for home cooks.

This seasoning blend contains dried chilis, rosemary, oregano, lemon, and sea salt, with a moderate heat, bright, fruity notes, and a rich herbaceousness. It’s ideal on grilled or roast chicken and will find a home in any dish to which you want to add a little zing. To fully enjoy its full-bodied flavor, try it sprinkled over a simple Tuscan fettunta, grilled bread drizzled with rich olive oil.
