If there’s one cheese pairing that defines the Italian pantry, it’s Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano. Together, they create the perfect balance and form the foundation of countless Italian dishes.

This bundle brings together two of our most beloved DOP-certified cheeses, sourced directly from their traditional homes in Italy and made following generations of artisan cheesemaking techniques. Whether you’re finishing a bowl of pasta, shaving it over a salad, building a cheese board, or simply breaking off a few chunks to snack on, these are the cheeses Italians keep on hand at all times.

Our Parmigiano Reggiano is aged for a minimum of 24 months in Emilia Romagna, developing its signature crystalline texture and rich umami depth. Made with raw cow’s milk and just a few simple ingredients, it’s the ultimate finishing cheese (though we fully support eating it straight from the fridge, too).

Our Pecorino Romano comes from Lazio, the historic home of Pecorino, where Fulvi has been producing exceptional sheep’s milk cheese for generations. Hand-salted and aged for 10–12 months, it’s creamy, complex, and boldly flavorful, essential for dishes like cacio e pepe and pasta alla gricia.

Used together, they create magic: Parmigiano brings sweetness and nuttiness, while Pecorino adds salty intensity and bite. Once you experience the real thing, it’s hard to go back.

Grate this aged parmigiano over your favorite pasta recipes or into creamy, cheesy sauces like carbonara, cacio e pepe, or even good old mac and cheese. Use a fork to break off craggy chunks to enjoy on a cheese board drizzled with an aged balsamico. And don’t forget to use the rinds! They can be simmered in Giada’s parmesan pomodoro or any broth to give it a rich umami boost.

With a salty, funky, slightly sweet flavor, pecorino romano shines in dishes where it can stand up against other bold flavors—or showcase it in a simple dish where it can be the star! Giada likes to show it off in pasta alla gricia or gnocchi with butter-thyme sauce. Try it on Caesar salad, in any of the classic Roman pastas, or on a cheese board paired with jam and honey.
