A few common pantry ingredients make for a beneficial tea that helps soothe digestion.
Citrus Fennel Tea
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fennel seeds
- 2 strips of lemon peel removed with a peeler
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon honey
- In a small sauce pan, toast the fennel seeds over medium heat for 1 minutes or until fragrant. Add the water and bring to a simmer. Remove from the heat and add the lemon peel. Steep for 1 minute. Strain the tea into a mug. Stir in the honey and enjoy.
