Giada's famous lemon ricotta cookies just got reimagined for the fall season.

If there's one flavor we associate with Giada, it's lemon - and if there's one dessert, it's her lemon ricotta cookies. These famous cookies first hit the internet back in 2007, and they've been a huge fan favorite ever since - they're even made (and often-ordered!) in Giada's restaurants, Giada Vegas and Pronto By Giada. 
While we have absolutely no issue eating lemon-flavored desserts year round, there's nothing like a warmly-spiced pumpkin dessert for autumn. So, what did we do? We gave Giada's famous lemon ricotta cookies a makeover for fall.

Light, fluffy, spiced, and delicious - these cookies deserve all the autumnal superlatives. They taste almost like muffin tops or pumpkin loaf, and the sweet and spiced glaze that hardens to a crackly crust makes them next-level good.
Even better? These pumpkin ricotta cookies are so easy to make. One bowl, no chilling time, just scoop and bake and glaze. For any and all fall gatherings (and even an incredibly low-effort Thanksgiving dessert) these pumpkin ricotta cookies are our star cookie for the fall season. We even find they get tastier after a day or two, so they're a great make-ahead sweet.
