Feel like a kid in a candy store when you browse our selection of artisan candy and chocolate from Italy. Indulgences of all kinds are on offer here, from delicate hard candies to gooey truffles to sophisticated dark chocolates flavored with coffee, caramel, and more.

Many of the flavors here are uniquely Italian, like gianduja, the hazelnut-chocolate spread you might recognize as Nutella. It was created out of necessity in the early 1800s, when Napoleon blocked all French allies—including Italy—from trading goods with the British. The restricted goods included cocoa, which forced Italian chocolatiers to get a bit creative to stretch their supply. They turned to an ingredient they had in abundance: the plump, flavorful hazelnuts that grow in the Langhe mountains, just south of Turin in the Piedmont. Today, the delicious blend can be enjoyed not just in creamy spreads, but bite-size truffles, bars, and more.

Sweet Sicilian pistachios and almonds, renowned across Italy for their robust flavor, shine when matched with creamy cocoa beans. Candied chestnuts from the Piedmont are treated to a nine-day pampering session to ensure they are as deliciously plump and sweet as possible. They’re peeled by hand and candied in a sugar syrup that is enriched by the intense perfume of Madagascar vanilla. The chestnuts themselves, from the Valle di Susa area, are so special they’re protected with IGP designation.

And don’t miss out on the torrone, a traditional Italian sweet that comes in a number of variations. A creamy nougat made with nuts, honey, and egg whites, torrone can be crumbly or chewy, coated in chocolate or sold in simple blocks. Traditionally filled with almonds, it can now be found filled with nuts and dried fruits of all kinds.

Whether you’re a dessert fanatic or shopping for the perfect gift for the sweet tooth in your life, you’ve come to the right place. These unique, authentically Italian candies and chocolates are sure to delight.
