It was inspired by a meal Giada had in Capri, in a lemon grove surrounded by the fragrant Amalfi citrus for which the region is famous. Parmigiano Reggiano: Aged for 24 months, this DOP-certified parmigiano reggiano is crumbly, complex, and utterly delicious. We sourced the best export-quality cheese direct from Emilia Romagna, where parmigiano is a way of life, to complement this luxuriously simple spaghetti.
Organic Spaghetti Chitarra: The squared edges on spaghetti chitarra are a specialty in the southern province of Abruzzo, where our Giadzy Pasta is made by true pasta artisans. Its ever-so-slightly rough texture and hearty versatility make it a perfect match for dishes with smooth yet flavorful sauces.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil: This oil made with Sicilian nocellara del Belice olives is intense and fruity, with notes of green tomato and artichoke. It’s a delicious match for creamy and semi-aged cheeses.
Organic Capers in Sea Salt: From the small southern island of Pantelleria, these capers are briny, tart, and packed with umami for a true flavor explosion. They’re packed in natural sea salt to intensify their bright flavor—just be sure to rinse them before using!
