The go-everywhere footwear Giada loves, and how to style them.

While I wear heels whenever I need a boost (like when I'm appearing on TV next to someone who isn't 5-foot-3!), I'd almost always rather be in my sneakers. They've even replaced clogs as my go-to kitchen uniform; they're just as comfortable for spending long hours on your feet, and the rubber soles are non-slip in the stickiest situations. That's the same reason they're indispensable when I'm traveling, and why they're perfect for pretty much any day I'm on the job as mom, running errands and hanging with Jade.

But what I love most about sneakers is the way you can dress them up or down for almost any occasion. Paired with a floral dress, they make a feminine day look for these in-between fall days. A sharp pair with jeans, a T-shirt, and a leather jacket is the perfect balance between cool and casual; switch up the sneaks with a pair with some sparkle or a luxe fabric and you're ready for dinner with friends. That's why I have more than a few pairs in my closet - there's a sneaker for every occasion!
