Tomato Passata

The plum tomatoes used to make this passata are grown in the fertile Piana del Sele in Salerno, in Italy's southeast. As they bask in the heat of the southern sun, the sugars in the fruit become super concentrated. The result is intensely flavorful tomatoes, which are processed as soon as they're harvested at low temperatures to preserve their freshness and nutritional properties.

This is the best Passata you can buy no doubt ! Flavor is great. Tastes so “real” and fresh! It’s always on hand, and I make Giada’s pasta e fagioli almost monthly with it. I use it all by itself on homemade pizza and get rave reviews! Toss it in pasta and fresh roasted veg, use it as a dip in place of canned marinara, possibilities? Endless!!!!

Saw you add that it will not increase your blood sugar like other pastas. Love pasta and have to cut back since the problem. I took my sugar level before eating and I just had your pasta and sauce. After eating I took it again and it moved only 20 points. Better than other pastas. And I used a ton less sauce because it did stick to the pasta better than others. So in conclusion I love it and will be ordering more. Thanks and I cannot figure out why American foods have so many additives. So keep up the good work. Bob
