Every time we come back from Italy, all we want in our morning cup is a frothy, milky cappuccino. Not everyone has access to a fancy espresso machine that can whip up the perfect cappuccino, nor do we want to be going to coffee shops every single morning! So when we stumbled upon this particular microwave cappuccino hack on the internet, we knew we had to give it a shot. It sounded a little too easy!
The concept is simple: Shake up some milk in a mason jar until it’s frothy, take off the lid, and microwave it. Supposedly, heating the shaken-up milk stabilizes the bubbles, giving you perfectly foamy milk just waiting to get drowned in a shot of espresso.
