Ravioli is the Star of This Lasagna
Lasagna just got a little more weeknight-friendly (and a little more awesome).
With lots of little mouths to feed, lasagna is a hearty standby that nonnas and madres oft turn to. However, it’s an undeniably labor-intensive process.
In the Giadzy Kitchen, we have been testing easier, family-friendly ways to make classic versions of Giada’s recipes (now, when it’s a lazy Sunday and we have a couple hours, we will definitely still be making her Classic Lasagna – you can’t beat it!) We realized that boiling and assembling the sheets of pasta was a bit of a pain, along with whipping up a seasoned ricotta cheese layer. The answer to both of those problems? Store-bought ravioli.
No cooking involved and with a cheesy filling already intact, this was the perfect solution to making lasagna a bit easier. And, trust us – this one is quite the crowd pleaser.
