Recovery Green Smoothie
The lemon juice really brightens up the flavor but makes the smoothie a bit more acidic, so if you are nursing a queasy tummy, you might want to skip it.

INGREDIENTS:
- ½ avocado
- ½ banana
- 1 large orange peeled
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1- inch piece of ginger peeled and chopped
- ¾ cup coconut water
- ½ cup ice
- Pinch of kosher salt
- Lemon juice to taste optional
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a blender combine the avocado, banana, orange, spinach, ginger, coconut water, ice, salt, and, if using, lemon juice, to taste.
- Puree on high for 1 minute or until smooth.
