INGREDIENTS:
For The Fudge Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For The Strawberry Sauce:
- 1 pint strawberries hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon tangerine zest
- Pinch of kosher salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
- For the fudge sauce: in a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Place over medium heat and whisk to combine. Bring to a simmer, whisking often. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from the heat. Whisk in the vanilla extract.
- For the strawberry sauce: in a medium bowl, mix together the strawberries, sugar, zest and salt to coat well. Cover and allow to rest for 1 hour.
- Add the mixture to a blender and puree until smooth
