These whole pomodorini (“tiny tomatoes”) are bite-sized, bell-shaped cherry tomatoes grown near the Amalfi Coast. Even more highly prized than the famous San Marzano, they have a distinctive profile and meaty texture that can’t be beat. Their intense flavor comes from a blend of rich volcanic soil, coastal sea breezes, rainwater, and passionate growers. They’re briefly cooked in a simple sugar syrup to concentrate the flavors and add a rich, luscious sweetness that makes them irresistible.

On the slopes of Monti Lattari in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, i Sapori di Corbara produces the most intensely flavorful tomatoes from unique varieties that can’t be grown anywhere else. They work directly with small local farmers to find the best quality tomatoes grown the old-fashioned way, supported by wooden stakes on terraced hillsides, watered only by the rain.
