Setaro Tripolini, 2.2 lbs
With a lacey edge on one side (perfect for clinging to sauces of all kinds) this pasta shape was created in honor of Queen Mafalda of Savoy. Setaro have been making pasta in Torre Annunziata in Naples the same way for more than 80 years, using fresh semolina flour that is minimally processed for maximum flavor. This pasta is dried at low temperatures for a long period of time, giving it its distinct perfectly chewy texture.
Note: All pastas should be cooked until al dente. There is no specific cook time on these pasta bags. You are encouraged to start tasting the pasta about 10 minutes in to the boiling time!
Ingredients: Durum wheat semolina, water. Contains gluten.
