In Italy, lasagne is the celebration dish, with a different traditional filling in each part of the country. No matter where you are, the most important ingredient is the thin, perfectly tender pasta sheets that hold it all together. These lasagne don’t have the frilled edge we’re used to seeing in the U.S., making them much easier to stack up neatly. Make sure to boil these first before laying them into your casserole, aiming for an extreme al dente. They’ll finish cooking in the sauce, giving you perfect bites of toothsome pasta, gooey cheese, and savory sauce every time.
Note: All pastas should be cooked until al dente. There is no specific cook time on these pasta bags. You are encouraged to start tasting the pasta about 10 minutes in to the boiling time!
