Setaro Cannelloni, 1.1 lbs
Cannelloni, which is Italian for “large reeds,” is the perfect pasta for filling with a delicious stuffing (think cheese!), enrobing in sauce and baking in the oven. Due to the large hollow center, you can fill cannelloni with far more options than you could with a small ravioli or stuffed pasta – from vegetables to proteins, the possibilities are endless. Setaro have been making pasta in Torre Annunziata in Naples the same way for more than 80 years, using fresh semolina flour that is minimally processed for maximum flavor. This pasta is dried at low temperatures for a long period of time, giving it its distinct perfectly chewy texture.
Note: All pastas should be cooked until al dente. There is no specific cook time on these pasta bags. You are encouraged to start tasting the pasta about 10 minutes in to the boiling time!
