2 ounces rye whiskey
1/2 ounce artichoke liquor, such as cynar
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth, such as Campano Antica
1 petal of fennel
1 strip of orange zest

To a cocktail glass filled with ice add the rye, artichoke liquor and sweet vermouth. Stir for 30 seconds to chill. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with the fennel petal and orange zest.
