Two kinds of pasta + two different tomatoes + 2 quintessential Italian spices = infinite options for deliciousness. Taste the difference between tiny pomodorini and tomatoes, all grown on the slopes of the southern Lattari Mountains and packed by hand just hours after picking to capture their pure, sunshine-packed flavor. Match them with two very lively shapes of Setaro pasta, made with fresh semolina flour by third-generation pasta-makers in the Neapolitan town of Torre Annunziata. Spice things up with the best dried oregano or a flavorful herb blend from Calabria, and dinner tonight will be anything but basic. This set comes packed in a gift box.

This box contains:

Nodi Marini: These “sailor’s knots” are so named because they resemble the complicated rope knots that all sailors must know. One of Giada’s favorite shapes, she discovered it on a trip to Italy and was determined to bring it back to the U.S.! These loosely coiled pasta twists pair well with chunky ragus as well as simple, vegetable-forward dishes.

Fusilli Lunghi: These long, hollow corkscrews were once made by hand by deftly wrapping each strand around a knitting needle or spindle (fusilli comes from the word fuso, or spindle). This super-sized version measures nearly 2 feet long, and is designed to be broken by hand to your desired length. Try them in place of bucatini in a rich tomato sauce.

Organic Whole Peeled Tomatoes: With a sunny, fresh tomato flavor, these organic peeled whole tomatoes from Bio Orto are ready for any culinary adventure. They’re grown in Puglia, the “heel” of Italy’s boot, where the southern heat (the region gets, on average, 2,500 hours of sun a year!) is tempered by cool breezes from the surrounding Mediterranean Sea. The tomatoes’ natural sugars are concentrated by those long hours in the sun, giving them a well-balanced flavor profile that sings with ripe sweetness and umami goodness. They’re hand-picked and peeled, then packed simply in water and salt to keep that fresh-from-the-vine taste.

Datterino Tomato: While the name of these datterino tomatoes from i Sapori di Corbara translates to “little date,” they might as well be called nature’s candy. Like their namesake fruit, they are naturally ultra-sweet—even more so than their cousin pomodorini. Grown in rich volcanic soil in Corbara near the Amalfi Coast, these small, oval tomatoes have a thicker skin and fewer seeds than common varieties. All this adds up to more sweet flesh, which means more delicious tomato flavor in every bite.

Dried Oregano: Oregano is a versatile, fragrant herb that is a true staple of Italian cuisine. It’s indispensable in sauces, vinaigrettes, marinades—you name it. This organic oregano is grown on a small family farm in Sicily and dried right on the branch, so there's no doubt about what you're getting.

Condi Spaghettata Spice Kit: This fiery blend of dried Calabrian chile peppers, tomato, parsley, and garlic is your one-stop shop for a satisfying spaghettata (that's a spaghetti meal in Italian) in just as much time as it takes to boil pasta.
Use: Note: Setaro does not include a cooking time on their pasta bags; they recommend that savvy cooks should start tasting the pasta after about 10 minutes of boiling to catch it at the perfect al dente texture.
