Cook along with Giada with this special kit in collaboration with the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. One of our favorite food events of the year, SOBEWFF is where Giada gets to meet fans, friends, and fellow chefs for a weekend of delicious food and community. This year, it’s taking place February 23-26, and Giada will be cooking her famous lemon spaghetti. For those who can’t make it to Miami, we’re thrilled to bring that exclusive experience to your door with this box containing everything you need to cook along with her. In addition to the hand-picked Italian ingredients, including fragrant Amalfi lemons and sumptuous aged parmigiano reggiano, this kit comes with a link to a virtual cooking demo featuring Giada's tips for mastering the dish.
This box contains perishable ingredients. All contents are vegetarian and suitable for nut-free diets.
This box contains:
Amalfi Lemons: These lemons are the real deal! With less bitter pith than the lemons we get in the U.S. and a thick peel that's packed with fragrant oil, Amalfi lemons are unbelievably sweet and flavorful—you’ve never tried anything like them.
Parmigiano Reggiano: Aged for 24 months, this DOP-certified parmigiano reggiano is crumbly, complex, and utterly delicious. We sourced the best export-quality cheese direct from Emilia Romagna, where parmigiano is a way of life, to complement this luxuriously simple spaghetti.
Organic Chitarra Pasta: The squared edges on spaghetti chitarra, a specialty in the southern province of Abruzzo, are achieved by cutting the pasta dough on a wooden frame strung tightly with wires like a guitar (chitarra in Italian). Its ever-so-slightly rough texture and hearty versatility make it a perfect match for dishes with smooth yet flavorful sauces.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil: This oil made with Nocellara del Belice olives has a medium-intense fruitiness and strong, herbaceous flavor with notes of green tomato and artichoke. It’s a delicious match for creamy and semi-aged cheeses.
Tuscan Herb Salt: Fragrant with sun-dried herbs, including sage, lavender, and rosemary, combined with crunchy sea salt, this blend created by world-famous Tuscan butcher Dario Cecchini smells like a walk through the Tuscan countryside, where these plants grow in wild abundance.
Amaretti: No dinner would be complete without a little something sweet! These almond-scented cookies made with apricot kernels are crisp and light, the pride of Saronno in Lombardy. They’re perfect served alongside an espresso or a glass of vin santo.
