I hosted this cocktail party and good old-fashioned talent show with my friends in the style of a creative salon to celebrate their hidden talents. Guests bring their best creative hidden talents, whether it's singing, playing the guitar, magic, juggling, or in my case, making balloon animals (shh, don't tell!). I rolled out the carpet to give my friends the star treatment with a menu of finger foods, a spicy cocktail and a table that sparkles. The secret to success is making sure you invite guests that will truly embrace the theme and who aren't afraid to be silly. I went with a light but decadent menu of Candied Prosciutto, Roasted Carrot Hummus, Crab Crostini with Lemon and Herbs and Calabrian Mojitos.
