For this episode of Giada Entertains, I threw an all-out painting party for Jade and her friends! From tie-dying an array of shirts to edible paint on macarons, we let our creative sides shine. I was inspired by the colors of paint for this menu, but also needed to make it kid-friendly! The beverage of the day, Rainbow Soda, was serious fun for the kids as they got to create their own mixture of bright fruit syrups. Laying squeeze bottles out on the table kept it mess-free, and added an extra touch of brightness to our vibrant tablescape. My secret to making green beans fun? Lots of texture and color! My Speckled Green Beans almost looked like a Jackson Pollock painting, dotted with a plethora of seeds and quinoa. Last but most definitely not least were the Bacon & Jam Sandwiches, which no child (or adult, honestly!) could turn down. The salt of the bacon and Parmesan alongside jam, pressed down between toasty crunchy bread slices is seriously irresistible. Tune in on March 4th at 11am EST on Food Network!
