The word "cleanse" doesn't have to be synonymous with juice fasts and detox concoctions - it's just all about giving your body a break!
Anything goes when it comes to eating during the holidays, which means we all tend to go a little overboard on the cookies, cheese plates and vino (as we should!). The new year is fast upon us, and magazines and Instagram feeds are going to be chalk-full of detox plans and fasts. While we do want a healthy reset, we are not keen on starving ourselves... we really like to cook and eat!To start off the new year on the right foot, we came up with tons of options to get you from breakfast to dinner (with snacks in between!) to inspire you for the year to come. We're focusing on hydration and nutrition to get us feeling our best. Here's the cincher - we're even going to minimize gluten and dairy, resist all sugary drinks (including alcohol!), and if we're feeling truly crazy, we might ease up on the caffeine too. Up for the challenge? Do it with us! Check out the menu below for some super-clean food picks that are still totally delicious and will keep you energized and full. BREAKFAST:
